The Delaware Public Service Commission (PSC) works to ensure safe, reliable and reasonably priced cable, electric, natural gas, wastewater, water and telecommunications services for Delaware consumers. To fulfill that obligation, the PSC will, as needed, issue Requests for Proposals (“RFPs”) seeking the expertise of individuals and firms in a variety of areas including, but not limited to: cost of service, rate design, revenue requirements, cost of capital, accounting, taxes, engineering, renewable energy, energy efficiency and other issues or topics that may arise in the area of public utility regulation.
RFPs issued by the PSC are included in the Bid Solicitation Directory under the Agency Code “STA.” To be notified of RFPs issued by the PSC, you may register with the Delaware Notification Services Website. Detailed information on registering is available in the Step by Step Guide.
RFPs issued by the PSC for consultants are generally under the UNSPSC code “8110”
RFPs related to the PSC’s E-Filing system are generally under the UNSPSC code “8111”
IMPORTANT: You must register with the Delaware Notification Services to be notified of RFPs issued by the PSC; no other notification will be provided. Even if you are a current or recent vendor, you must still register with the Delaware Notification Services to receive RFP notifications from the PSC.
