Delmarva Power Rate Case Update

On Friday, February 9, 2018, Delmarva Power filed additional information on their electric and gas rate cases currently pending with the Delaware Public Service Commission.

Based on the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act (TCJA) signed by President Trump on December 22nd, 2017, Delmarva Power has lowered their requested rate increase requests by $26 million. $18.6 million dollars and $7 million dollars respectively, for the electric and gas rate cases.

The Public Service Commission Staff is in the process of reviewing this new information to ensure the impacts of the TCJA are applied properly.  Additional information can found on the PSC electronic filing system, DelaFile, by referencing dockets 17-0977 (electric) and 17-978 (gas).
