On March 17, 2008, a Public Workshop was held. At the conclusion of the workshop, the Hearing Examiner requested participants to submit in writing their comments. Comments were received from Staff, Delmarva Power & Light, Chesapeake Utilities Corp and the Delaware Energy Users Group
By Commission Order No. 7153 dated March 20, 2007, the Commission opened this proceeding to consider whether to implement a revenue decoupling ("RD") mechanism for the electric and natural gas utilities subject to its jurisdiction. As part of this proceeding the Commission seeks to develop policy recommendations and concepts regarding the potential approval of RD mechanisms. A working group has convened and the following schedule has been set forth (as of June 20, 2007):
- Friday, May 25, 2007 - Deadline for the public to file written comments with the Commission
- Friday, June 1, 2007 - Delmarva and Chesapeake file definitions of decoupling, plans, if any
- Wednesday, June 20, 2007 - Presentations from the Sustainable Energy Utility Task Force and ACORN at 8:30 a.m. at the Commission's offices in Dover
- Wednesday, August 15, 2007 - Written Comments due (Modified)
- Monday, October 22, 2007 - Written Reply Comments due (Modified)
- Monday, November 19, 2007 - Written Reply Comments due
