This is Chesapeake's annual filing to update their Environmental Surcharge Rider (ESR) for charges effective December 1, 2007. The ESR is a surcharge that allows the Company to recover appropriate costs associated with the remediation of its Manufactured Gas Plants sites. Chesapeake is proposing a credit to its ESR rate this year.

Commission Orders

• Order No. 7360 (Feb. 5, 2008) - establishing the Environmental Rider rate credit of $0.0053 per Ccf as a just and reasonable rate, effective for services provided on and after Nov. 1, 2007. Chesapeake Utilities Corp. shall terminate its Environmental Rider rate at the end of this recovery year or Nov. 30, 2008 and include any remaining balance in its next Gas Sales Service Rate application to be filed on Sept. 1, 2008.
• Order No. 7317 (November 20, 2007) - establishing a temporary Environmental Rider Rate credit effective December 1, 2007 and scheduling a hearing date for February 5, 2008 Commission Meeting.
